So, the trip to the Philippines is planned and booked!

Now you are wondering what clothes or equipment should I be bringing during my trip?

In this article, we show you what we would pack for a trip to the Philippines and what things you should think of for certain activities!

1. BACKPACKS AND DAYPACKS

BACKPACK

Some people travel with a suitcase, For your trip to the Philippines we think it’s a good idea to travel with your backpack. And since you usually don't need too many clothes when traveling here and especially no thick clothes, it doesn't have to be the biggest backpack.

DAY KNAPSACK

Bring along a daypack or a knapsack that you’ll always have with you and in which your valuables are stored while your main backpack is in the hotel or the luggage compartment.

A knapsack is also handy for storing your provisions and camera equipment for day trips, hikes, or even tours over several days in a shockproof and dry way. That said, a knapsack is one of the most important pieces of equipment when traveling!

TIP FOR PACKING AND ORGANIZING

If you don't want to just put your clothes in the backpack but want to keep a little order, we can only recommend packing cubes!

Using packing cubes, everything has its place, and you know exactly which pack bag you will find, what's in it, and which pack bag you have to pull out of the backpack.

With a camera inlay, you can turn any backpack into a small shockproof camera bag and still have room for other things. Also, avoid carrying a classic photo backpack around with you that would tell potential thieves what's inside.

In addition, it’s a good idea to always travel with a cloth bag. Perfect for the short walk to the market, store food provisions separately for the bus ride, and so on!
